Tour Overview

  • Tours sites are those related to St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Philip of Neri, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Cecilia, St. Francesca Romana, and St. Tarcisus. Some saints can be combined and some cannot because of their locations.

  • The life of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, St. Philip Neri and Saint Catherine of Siena can be traced through the center of Rome seeing where they lived, preached, and left indelible physical structures for generations to come, thanks to their ardent practice of the Faith and the heroic lives they lived. The life of saints unfolds as we weave through streets unveiling a lovely surprise at the end.

  • An account of their lives lived in Rome will be related happily during tour, which depending on the tour of saint can be 2, 3 or 4 hours long.

  • We will visit Il Gesù where he is buried, his home next door, and the church dedicated to him, St. Ignatius of Loyola.

  • Chiesa Nuova where he is buried, where his disciples, Oratorians, built an oratory, and where he lived, San Girolomo della Carita.

  • A visit to the room where she died, the church where she is buried and honored as the Patroness of Italy, Santa Maria sopra Minerva.

  • St. Cecilia is buried where she lived, Santa Cecilia in Trastevere.
